Dewayne Rembert is the founding pastor of Flatline Church at Chisholm, launched in 2018 to serve a local, underserved community in Montgomery, Alabama. Deeply committed to equipping churches for cross-cultural ministry, Rembert created the MAWL Cohort (Model, Assist, Watch, Leave) a three day training program designed to help pastors and associations understand and engage urban culture through a biblical lens. His vision and leadership have sparked revival across communities like Selma and continue to inspire partnerships statewide. Through Flatline Church, his position as church planting strategist for Montgomery Baptist Association and the MAWL initiative, Rembert is helping churches work together to seek the lost, strengthen the weak, and serve the poor while reflecting the unity of the body of Christ in tangible, transformative ways.
