Equipping Churches to Reach Underserved Communities

The MAWL Cohort exist to help churches and pastors see ministry in underserved communities with fresh eyes. Through intentional training, mentoring, and collaboration, we equip leaders to effectively engage the culture around them especially in economically challenged, often overlooked communities.

MAWL cultural training teaches the missional learner to follow Paul's example by "becoming all things to all people so that by all possible means we might save some" (1 Corinthians 9:22).

MAWL leads the student to a "whole new level" in their studies of the subculture behind urban America.

At the end of the training, the participant will be amply prepared with both a cultural understanding and strategic gospel plan to effectively minister to those who live in and near their church community.
